Meet The Team

Andrew (he/him)

Andrew is an Integrative Physiotherapist with over a decade of experience in the healthcare system, encompassing roles as a Myotherapist, Physiotherapist, Strength Coach and Pilates instructor. His clinical work is centered around movement integration, strength and conditioning, and advanced physiotherapy approaches, allowing him to offer holistic and effective care for his clients.

Andrewā€™s journey in healthcare began in 2010, driven by a passion for understanding the complexities of the human body and helping individuals achieve their physical potential. His diverse background enables him to create tailored treatment plans that address not just the symptoms but the root causes of movement dysfunctions.

In his practice, Andrew combines evidence-based physiotherapy with innovative movement strategies to empower his clients, helping them regain control over their bodies and improve their quality of life. He believes in a collaborative approach, working closely with each person to ensure their goals are met, whether in rehabilitation, injury prevention, or enhancing athletic performance.

Andrew is committed to continuous learning and regularly updates his knowledge and skills to stay at the forefront of his field. His vision is to create a healthcare environment where each individual feels seen, supported, and empowered to live a life free from physical limitations.

Irene (she/her)

Irene Ais is an Integrative Physiotherapist specialising in chronic and mental health focused care. She is passionate about supporting people by empowering not just how they move but how we create a pathway towards embodying their whole selves.

She has spent 18 years in integrative physiotherapy and her clinical work focuses on the support of invisible chronic illness, chronic pain, hypermobility and providing body based support for those living with trauma.Ā

Irene also draws from many years as a yoga facilitator/therapist and mental health/clinical educator in her clinical work which has taken her across Australia and internationally.Ā Ā

Ireneā€™s approach is inclusive, respectful and compassionate. She promotes a ā€˜we canā€™t do it aloneā€™ approach which acknowledges the environmental, systemic and intersectional factors on individual health experiences. This leads her to co create unique, person centred programs which support the individual needs and desires of people she works with.

Her work is neuro affirming, weight and body inclusive, gender affirming, focuses on depathologizing diversity and offers body based mental health and trauma support.

Maddie (she/her)

Maddie is an Integrative Physiotherapist, health educator and movement facilitator. In her clinical work, she specialises in people-informedĀ care forĀ folks with chronic and invisible illnesses, and their co-morbidities. Her approach to care provision and education is to help people access joy and pleasure by working side by side to remove the barriers to access.

Throughout her eleven years of physiotherapy, working with populations ranging from elite performing artists to aged care, Maddie has found working in the chronic and invisible illness space to be some of her most meaningful work to date.Ā

Drawn to health education from a desire for systemic change, she aims to empower clinicians to feel confident, impactful, and find sustainability in their work, while enhancing the quality and quantity of compassionate and knowledgeable care available for folks with chronic illness.Ā

She believes this requires an embodied and attuned practitioner, and her extensive study of movement, somatic, contemplative, and psychotherapeutic modalities informs her work and toolkit.Ā

Maddieā€™s vision is healthcare (and a society) that destigmatises diversity and is sustainable, accessible, equitable, and just for everyone involved.

Melissa (she/her)

Melissa is an integrative physiotherapist, trauma-informed facilitator, and small business owner, though her role, like her, is ever changing.

Originally from the West and now living, playing and working on Wurundjeri Country, Melissa has long been fascinated by human beings. Over the years, her natural curiosity has led her to train in various movement, bodywork and psychotherapeutic frameworks as well as exploring larger topics around culture, philosophy and social justice.

Melissa has been a practitioner for almost fourteen years and maintains a small clinical caseload, supporting folks at the intersection of variant connective tissue and post-traumatic stress. Her approach centers the body, drawing upon the technologies of mindfulness, somatics, hatha yoga and the Non-Linear Movement Method whilst weaving modern neuroscience and relational safety to help her clients better understand their experiences and create the conditions for meaningful change.

Melissa is committed to ensuring that people are treated with respect, fairness, and dignity and is particularly passionate about supporting the health and wellbeing of the next generation of care providers. Her hope is that she can inspire more people to courageously move into their power so that she can live to see a world where humans take better care of one another.
